Our Rating:
The challenges in the seasonal box are creative and well thought out. This is a fun and easy way to prepare and present science activites to kids. You could just as easily get a science experiment book, which often has the benefit of pictures showing the process and preparation for an experiment, but I appreciate how the notecards are straight to the point and visually simplified. The cards are a bit more durable than a book would be and they also force students to use their reading comprehension by not showing the step-by-step process in pictures. Building an ability to follow directions is priceless. I will try to upload photos of some of the projects we have done when I get a chance. 🙂
